ALPHA GAMMA DELTA 3 I n our 101 years, Psi Chapter has proudly stood, recruiting strong women and producing even stronger ones. Here are the highlights of the many ways that we have continued to love, lead, and last this past year: • Psi was awarded the Most Outstanding Chapter at the Greek Excellence Awards Ceremony. • Hannah Hale '19 won Greek Woman of the Year. • In the fall, we had 208 members on the president's list and 162 on the dean's list. Our chapter GPA was an outstanding 3.83. • One hundred members are in the Honors College • Fifteen members are in the University Fellows Experience. • Julia Stewart '19 serves as president of the Anderson Society. • Twenty members were selected for the Order of Omega Honor Society. • Twelve members were selected as members of the Cardinal Key Honor Society. • Seven members were selected for Mortar Board as well as the Blue Key Honor Society • Seven members serve as Capstone Women, the official ambassadors of the university. This is the highest number of any Greek Organization on campus. • Over thirty members are University Stewards. • Six members are involved with The Blackburn Institute. • Eight members were selected as members of the First Year Council. • Forty-nine new members were selected for Freshman Forum. • Izzy Boyd '19 just finished her term as the vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion for the Student Government Association. • Hidy Kirkpatrick '22 was elected as a senator for the College of Human Environmental Sciences. • Hannah Hale just finished serving her term as the 2021-22 Alabama Panhellenic Association president. • Savannah Shaw '21 was selected as Panhellenic'[s assistant director of judicial affairs for 2022-23. • Twenty-seven members were selected to serve on the Panhellenic Recruitment Team for recruitment this fall. • Mary James Bridges '20 was selected to serve as Head Rho Chi. • Emma Grace Trammell '20, Hannah Shedd '21, and Izzy Michaud '19 served on the Executive Board of UA Homecoming. • Our Fifth Quarter 5K and Silent Auction raised over $25,000. • Members helped package over 7,000 meals to help fight food insecurity during Rise Against Hunger. • Rebecca Wilson '20 was selected as president of Beat Auburn Beat Hunger for 2023. • Over thirty members are involved with B+, including Priya Nangia '19 as president. • In the past year, Alpha Gamma Delta has contributed over $12,000 to other on-campus organizations' philanthropies. • Priya Nangia was selected to serve International Alpha Gamma Delta as a Leadership Consultant this upcoming year. What an incredible year of service and sisterhood. We look forward to doing it all again this fall and hope to see you soon at the sorority house!
