P
si Chapter is grateful to our House Association, under the direction of Kellyn Lee from
Lampadas Living in Tuscaloosa, for the beautiful renovation of the basement at the Alpha
Gamma Delta sorority house. Members were excited to come back from winter break to the new
furnishings. The updates offer a bright and spacious place for studying, watching television, or
just being with friends. The area provides two large gathering spaces, each with a sectional sofa, a
durable coffee table, and bright, colorful chairs. The long wall provides cheerful study spots with
beautiful wallpaper, mirrors, long tables, comfortable chairs, and banquette seating.
Featured artwork by local artist Holland Payne is highlighted over the two study bar areas,
providing a comfortable place to hit the books.
The updated cabinetry showcases beautiful items, artwork, and a sampling of Psi Chapter's awards.
The House Association graciously upgraded both lighting and technology to help make this space
more efficient and useful for our 400-plus membership.
Added tables helped to provide more versatile seating. The bright greens, blues, and creams make
this space inviting and fun for all.
Thank you to Property Advisor LouLou Mize Tucker '82 for coordinating these wonderful renovations!
