The chapter sent bulk rate mail to more than 5,000 men every spring with business reply cards. Recruiting adequate numbers of new members was facilitated by those lists. Today, those interested in Greek recruiting must sign up with the university and must have graduated high school with a 2.8 GPA. No fraternity gets access to these interested students until classes start. Fraternities like Fiji and Sigma Chi recruit exclusively from alumni referrals. Those chapters don't even participate in fall or spring recruiting. Beta Alpha is not advised to work strictly from alumni referrals alone and will always participate in IFC recruiting. That said, as you might assume, the best candidates for Fraternity membership are those who are recommended by alumni. We assure you that the recruiting team will thank you for referrals and will keep you posted on their status. Please submit recommendations to Mason Kruse '25 at maakruse@iu.edu and copy Ken Glass '76 at dtdken.glass1431@gmail.com.
