Turned 100!
On November 10, 2022, Maralyn Howell
Bullion '41 celebrated her 100th birthday!
M
aralyn loved her Phi Mu days; she made
lifelong friends and has remained dedicated
to our sisterhood ever since. During college, she
served as Chapter president and was involved in
campus activities, including the school newspaper,
The Oxford Eagle, and archery. In memory of
the students lost in World War II, she and her
classmates planted the magnolia trees that line
the road between Paris-Yates Chapel and Guyton
Hall. In 1943, she became the first woman student
body president at Ole Miss! Maralyn remains a
huge fan of Ole Miss and is always watching "the
game" and discussing performance and rankings
with her friends and family.
