All alumnae celebrating anniversaries of 10, 25, 50, 60 and 75 years receive communication regarding their milestone pin from AXΩ National Headquarters at the beginning of the year if contact information is available. Those affiliated with an alumnae chapter generally receive their alumnae pins through the alumnae chapter. For more information regarding the membership milestone program, contact October Davis, assistant director of volunteer management, at odavis@alphachiomega.org. Celebrating Milestones Celebrating Milestones Congratulations on Your Lifelong Membership to AXΩ CHAPTER ETERNAL Shirley Page '46 entered Chapter Eternal on Oct. 17, 2022. She worked as a District 60 gym teacher 1949-82. She enjoyed tennis, skiing, golf, coaching, and officiating at track meets. She lived in Pueblo, Colo., and was a member of the Pueblo tennis club and a shortstop on the Pueblo Ordinance Depot women's softball team in 1952. Marilyn Hager Hart '57, of Lake Oswego, Ore., entered Chapter Eternal on Aug. 8, 2022. She met her husband, Glenn, at Mizzou, and they moved to Oregon, where they founded OrePac Building Products and raised their three children, Doug, Jennifer and Brad. Marilyn was a special education teacher and was active in her community; she was a member of PEO, was involved in her local church, and served as the PTO president at Lakeridge High School. She loved playing tennis, golf and many card games. Barbara Quentin James '58 entered Chapter Eternal on Sept. 12, 2022. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in education, she taught school for a few years before starting a family with her husband, William. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was active in her community, serving on the Friends of the Webster Groves Library Guild and volunteering in her children's schools. She was a member of the Webster Groves Presbyterian Church for 54 years. She loved traveling with William, reading, needlework, fishing and puzzles. Barbara was a resident of St. Louis, Mo. C. Fisher Dirrim '59 entered Chapter Eternal on Dec. 2, 2021. She was a secretary in the Modern Foreign Language Department with Purdue University Fort Wayne, and she enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling and spending time by the pool. She loved her family and cherished her time with her four granddaughters. She was a resident of Fort Wayne, Ind., for many years. Linda Josephine Harris Farchmin '69, of Bonita Spring, Fla., entered Chapter Eternal on Dec. 29, 2022. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in education, and like her father, Linda was a successful entrepreneur. For 10 years, she owned a fine décor boutique called The Gift Gallery. It was there that she met her husband, Roy. Whether it was volunteering at school, helping with homework, attending sporting events, teaching her children the meaning of off-color English and Arabic words, or impressing Jon and Caroline's friends with her biceps, Linda was fiercely supportive of her children's education, personal interests and growth as individuals. Philanthropy was also important to Linda, and when she was not caring for her family or community, Linda loved playing tennis, dancing, entertaining and joining family and friends at Winstead's. ALUMNAE NEWS Ruth Evans Swanson '74 retired in April 2020 and lives in Rockford, Ill. She and her husband are thrilled to be able to travel again. They visited South America this winter. "Making new connections with neighbors who are used to seeing me only on the weekends and spending more time with family." She lives in Edmond, Okla. Email: ekcirish@aol.com Margaret Green Dinger '75 resides in Marshfield, Mass., and is a realtor on the South Shore of Boston. Her husband is retired, and they boat, ski and travel. She shares that she still has family in Missouri. Her son is married with two young children and her daughter is married with one young son and a daughter on the way. Email: peggydinger@gmail.com Amanda LaBrot '11 received her master's degree in strategic communication and innovation from Texas Tech University in August 2022 and got engaged in October 2022. She works in corporate communications at Delta Air Lines and lives in Atlanta, Ga., with her fiancé and their two dogs. They live in Kansas City, Mo., and Emma is a senior project manager at the Kansas City National Security Campus – Department of Energy.
