Both A.E. and Mary played significant roles in Gravette's history. A.E. was a founding member of the Bank of Gravette and Mary served as director of the bank following his death. e Kindley House is on the National Register of Historic Places, and has seen numerous renovations over the years to better serve the community and facilitate ongoing exhibits. e museum offers a wide range of exhibits, including collections of photos and obituaries, furniture, garments, military uniforms, a wooden phone booth, and a Gravette Shelling Plant display. e museum also features a special exhibit titled "My Collection," which showcases private exhibits of collectors around Northwest Arkansas. Historic Downtown Gravette's Main Street, which has been given an extensive faceli with sidewalks, street lights and more, is attracting businesses you might think you would find only in a larger cosmopolitan metropolis. Art and design studios, a gym, restaurants and a sports bar have all migrated to Main Street in Gravette, making it a great place to stroll and enjoy.
