THETA GAMMA NEWS PAGE 2 Raising the Bar S I S T E R S S T R I V E FO R E XC E L L E N C E W e hold ourselves to high standards at Theta Gamma, and our accomplishments on campus continue to inspire the sisterhood to grow and improve. Our chapter was awarded gold status on our Standards of Excellence, and across all 56 Greek chapters, Tri Delta ranked eighth in GPA. Theta Gamma is proud to report over $130,000 raised for St. Jude last year—part of the reason why we won the St. Jude Heart award! This honor was given at the St. Jude convention last summer and recognizes a particular chapter that showed the most heart, passion, and love for St. Jude. Our chapter has been hard at work with events and recruitment. We hosted a Bevo Cookout on Delta Beach prior to OU vs. Texas, and we also managed to sell over 500 tickets for our coffeehouse event in the spring. Meanwhile, our Scandals cast achieved second place overall last year. Last fall, we were proud to initiate 81 new members into Theta Gamma. We look forward to seeing how these sisters shape our chapter, much like the many members who have celebrated recent individual accomplishments. Here are just a few of the sisters doing great things on campus: Rylee Sudberry '19 was awarded outstanding Rho Gamma. Courtney Witte '19 is serving as an RA for one freshman housing. Bella Zaidle '19 was a member of the 2022 Homecoming Royalty Court and served as Panhellenic president. Mackenzie Reeves '20 was recognized as outstanding sophomore last spring. Taylor Bishop '21 was a top 10 finalist for Miss Oklahoma. Emily Faith '21 was first runner-up for Miss Oklahoma and competed in American Idol last spring. (She received a gold ticket to Hollywood!) Becca George '21 is a PLC advisor. Claire Grace '21 was third runner-up for Miss Oklahoma.
