Bibens '78 – February 7, 2022 Alumni News Arnie M. Kaestner '57 and Sue recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. He visited the DU house in April 2022 and appreciated a warm welcome and tour of the facility that he contributed to rebuilding. He recalls being in the old house when it burned down in 1953. Bevard '59 shares that, after 10 years of trying on and off, he finally closed on a reverse mortgage on his home and highly recommends everyone eligible to check it out. Anderson '63 retired from the CDC in 1998 after spending 33 years of active duty as a commissioned officer with the U.S. Public Health Service in Atlanta, Georgia. His current activities include reviewing two infection control journals, doing outside and indoor home projects, keeping up with his four grandchildren, exercising as much as possible, and traveling when time permits. He is a fellow at the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Washington University Distinguished Law Alumnus. He was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1964-66. He is retired and splits his time between Marco Island, Fla., and Northfield, Ill. Collins '89 was promoted to assistant director of adoption and enablement at Northwestern Mutual's corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, where he lives with his wife, Mary, and their Boston Terrier, Baxter. "My view out over Lake Michigan from 27 floors up is pretty spectacular." He and Mary recently purchased a vacation property in the Wisconsin Northwoods and would welcome a visit from all brothers from the 1980s. As a senior risk advisor, he works on behalf of his clients to provide them with the appropriate coverage based on their needs.
