A SLICE OF PI GAMMA PHI BETA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN • SPRING 2023 ANOTHER SEMESTER GONE AND ANOTHER CLOSER TO THE GAMMA PHI BETA 150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! In 2024, Gamma Phi Beta will celebrate 150 years of True and Constant sisterhood. 150 years of memories made with sisters we love. 150 years of building confident women of character. 150 years of making a difference in the world around us. ARE YOU VERIFIED? The international organization is pulling out all the stops for this momentous year. As you've likely noticed in your email, Gamma Phi Beta recently launched a comprehensive alumnae verification project in celebration of the anniversary. The project is hoping to confirm accuracy of records and fill in any gaps. In addition, they are also collecting stories from our alumnae to memorialize the 150-year history of Gamma Phi Beta sisterhood through the years. You are encouraged to call to verify your data and share your story. Be on the lookout for more information on all the ways we are honoring our amazing sisterhood! PI CHAP TER FOR THE NEXT 150 YEARS Now, back to Pi Chapter business and a quick update on our home. While a 150-year celebration is difficult to comprehend or fully appreciate due to our limited perspective and retrospect, it does make us reflect on the sustainability of Pi Chapter moving forward. Looking ahead, we expect projects to consist primarily of repairs and general maintenance to ensure the functionality and continued use of our home (check out pictures of some of your recent renovations below!). While not as exciting to share, the board has undertaken the process of analyzing and assessing larger projects on the horizon. As a board, we continue to utilize our financial resources in a prudent manner so that the house remains a safe home to our sisters who occupy it— today and in the future. We are continually grateful for your support—whether it be through time or money. Pi Chapter remains strong and has a bright and healthy future ahead. As always, thank you for your continued support and dedication to Pi Chapter. In IIKE, Kara E. Brostrom '09 AHC President TAKE A LOOK AT OUR RECENT RENOVATIONS TO THE CHAPTER HOUSE!
