THETA OMEGA page 3 T ri Delta holds a very special place for both Bridget White '92 and her family. "My two sisters were both Theta Omegas before me, and I wanted to share the experience with them even though they were not at KU the same time as me." Bridget was drawn to the members and their kindness during recruitment. She remembers how special the sisters made her feel and how genuine the women were. Bridget wanted to be a part of a sorority that valued true bonds of friendship and sisterhood and was blessed to find both at Theta Omega. "Theta Omega has been very impactful to me in ways I am still benefiting from 30 years after pledging," she said. "I was blessed to have made lifelong best friends through my experience as well as a safe environment to develop my leadership skills." ConneCtions everywhere After moving to Boston after college and not knowing anyone in a new city, Bridget got involved with the local alumnae chapter. She was able to meet wonderful sisters from other chapters who she became instant friends with. "My membership made my world a bit smaller at such a big school as well as in such a big city like Boston." Bridget also volunteered with the Alpha Chapter at Boston University, which prepared her for her most recent role as membership experience advisor for Theta Omega. Coming BaCk home Bridget has loved serving as an advisor for the past year, allowing her to give back to the organization that gave her so much. "Tri Delta was one of the best decisions I ever made." This past August, she visited the house to help with work week and recruitment. "I had the pleasure of getting to know the current members, and it has warmed my heart to see Theta Omega is still a beautifully diverse group of young women from all over the country with a wide variety of talents and passions who value sisterhood and the traditions of Tri Delta," Bridget said. always and Forever There isn't a day that goes by that Bridget isn't communicating with at least one of her sisters. "We are a close-knit group," she said. "My sisters are truly my best friends, and we have been through it all together since we were 18." Bridget has been married to Alex White for 19 years. They have a 15-year-old son, Alex Jr., and 13-year-old daughter, Libby. In her free time, Bridget loves to bake, do needlepoint, play tennis, decorate, and travel. The 2022 new member class receives a warm welcome with open arms into their new families at our Big/Little Reveal! Bigs and littles were met with a variety of fun and matching outfits on the front lawn of our chapter facility.
