Last spring, our executive officers attended the 2022 Collegiate Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, where we received two awards: the Kathleen Davis Nye Excellence in Panhellenic and Community Relations Award and Excellence in Community Service. Only eight awards are given out to the 139 collegiate Tri Delta chapters across North America; we are so proud to have won two out of eight awards for a second year in a row! PHILANTHROPY Last year, we had great success with fundraising for St. Jude, beating the previous year once again and raising a total of over $60,000. We also excelled with our usual philanthropy events, Delta Diner, Sincerely Yours, and 20K in a Day, where we raised over $24,000 in 24 hours. This year we decided to plan a new event related to Sincerely Yours which included a letter writing party at the house with music and snacks. We hope for continued success in our chapter's fundraising efforts this year, and I have loved seeing how passionate our members are for St. Jude. ALUMNAE EVENTS This year, we had the opportunity to welcome back Theta Omega alumnae for KU Homecoming weekend. Our chapter had alumnae events, including an upperclassmen networking event at the Eldridge Hotel and a tailgate before the football game at our chapter facility. At the tailgate, we had the opportunity to partner with Tri Delta Housing to reveal renderings and floor plans of our new chapter facility coming in fall of 2024. Thank you to the alumnae who were able to make it to Lawrence for Homecoming weekend—our current members loved meeting you all. We look forward to next year's Homecoming celebrations!
