page 2 W hen young women go through recruitment, it's easy to see why so many are drawn to Tri Delta. Mutual support is prioritized from the start, and legacy connections give some new members a chance to connect with family through sisterhood. "When I went through recruitment, Tri Delta was a favorite each day," said Molly Ingemanson Garver '95. As a new member, Molly was comfortable in Theta Iota and found it easy to talk with sisters in the Chapter House. Her sister, Lisa Ingemanson Laddish '89, was already a member, and Molly recalls similar feelings when visiting previously for game days and sibling's weekends. Molly's sibling connection was especially impactful during initiation, as her older sister was there to support her as a new member. Before she knew it, Molly was making Tri Delt memories of her own at football games, at fundraisers, and during work weeks. "I feel that Tri Delt helped me grow into a more well-rounded and mature adult." After receiving a biology degree from K-State, and later a nursing degree from KU, Molly's career started in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Mercy Hospital, though she eventually decided to become a stay-at-home mom with her first two daughters. During those first few years at home, Molly earned a real estate license and worked with her husband to operate their own home-building and development company. She currently works from home, allowing her to be more available to their three daughters, Ella '22, Grace, and Lila. "Going out into the professional world, [Tri Delta] helped me be able to work with and relate to many different types of people," Molly added. "I am really thankful for my membership. I probably appreciate it even more now as an adult." Ella recently joined Tri Delta herself, and Molly couldn't be happier to see the legacy continue. While Grace and Lila have college on the horizon in the coming years, Molly encourages her daughters to follow their hearts—no matter the path. "When Ella told me each day that Tri Delta was her favorite, I was so excited and hoped it would all come together," Molly said. "When she opened her bid card and told us it was Tri Delta, I was overjoyed for her!" For undergraduate members, Molly hopes they can make the most of their college years and soak up the full experience. Though tough days and classes sometimes occur, they are part of the learning process, and Tri Delta is always there for sisterly support. Molly has made sure to remain in contact with her sisters, and many of them come together for a monthly Dinner Club. Social media has also kept sisters connected in recent years. Molly often spends her free time at her daughters' activities, such as Ella's horse shows, Grace's cheerleading events, or Lila's dance competitions.
