PAGE 2 S ince our triumphant return in 2019, Alpha Mu has been working hard to restore our excellence on campus. We would like to first highlight some of the strides we have made academically as a chapter. In the spring semester, we saw our chapter GPA rise to a 3.04, putting us above 3.0 for the first time in a few years. is is in large part due to a third of the fraternity achieving above a 3.5, including 26 brothers making the Dean's List and 10 brothers achieving a 4.0. We would also like to commend our new members for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 during their new member education process. With new systems being built into place to establish incentives, assistance, and accountability, along with the visible progress we have seen across the board, a higher value is being placed on the chapter's academic performance, which will build upon itself for years to come. Looking toward philanthropy, our footprint can be seen across campus while we have yet another exciting event on the horizon. Last spring, we hosted a golf tournament with Georgia SAE, raising over $6,500 for the Movember Foundation. is fall, we have partnered with Zeta, Phi Mu, and Tri Delta to support their chapters' philanthropy events. Before the fall semester concludes, we are partnering with Sigma Nu and Kappa Alpha to host a hot dog eating contest that will benefit the Exceptional Foundation of Auburn. We want to highlight a few members who have been involved on campus and have represented SAE so well to the university. Junior Jennings Mcgill '24 has served as director of housing for IFC over the past year. Sophomore Judson Lisenby '25 has served as the assistant director of city relations for SGA Cabinet. Finally, senior Chance Loeffler '23 serves as Eminent Archon and is on the IFC Court. ese brothers have been instrumental in building a good relationship and image with the university. All these strides we have made over the past few years have been recognized on a national level. Last year, SAE National awarded us a National Chapter Achievement Award. is year, we are up for an Outstanding Philanthropy Award and an Outstanding Alumni Relations Award.
