A
s everyone may have noticed, SAE
at Auburn University is firing on all
cylinders. It has been great to see so many of
you at the SAE house this fall. While the Tigers
are not quite having the season that we would
all want, you would never know by the crowds
gathering by the pond enjoying themselves.
Eminent Archon Chance Loeffler '23 and
the current officers are doing a great job
representing our chapter on Auburn's campus
and in the eyes of SAE National. As discussed,
we are the first at Auburn University to utilize
the services of What Good Looks Like. is
program equips the chapter with a dedicated
in-house counselor who members can turn to
when they are facing many of the challenges at
this crucial time in a young man's life. is has
been especially well received with the unique
issues following COVID. What Good Looks
Like has also been a tremendous help to the
House Corporation in sharing best practices
from other southeastern fraternities, such as
maintaining our house and property and even
managing food service suppliers.
Parents Weekend took place on November 12
during the Texas A&M game. For the weekend,
parents were encouraged to come by the house
and check things out for themselves. e chapter
has had several years of stellar pledge classes,
with guys from across the southeast and many
traditional SAE cities. e house and grounds
are being well maintained, and the chapter is
buzzing with enthusiasm about the generational
improvements on the drawing board. We hope
to see you at the house soon!
