Chapter Eternal Sally Bacon Rollings '45 entered Chapter Eternal on May 28, 2022. She attended Tucson High School, where she met her future husband, Kelley (who precedes her in passing). The couple settled in Tucson after college, and Sally maintained her connection to her birth state of Michigan through summer visits to Lake Michigan with her parents, children, and grandchildren. Sally and Kelley were active in numerous civic organizations, including the Tucson Museum of Art and the Tucson Festival Society. Moving forward, Sally's family and friends celebrate the wonderful life that she lived. Suzanne Laws Parnell '51 entered Chapter Eternal on August 6, 2022. Suzanne was born in Wichita, Kan., as a descendent of a true pioneer family in Wichita. She lived there for 14 years on the banks of the Arkansas River, which left her with a lifelong love of rivers. Arriving in Tucson in 1947, she attended Tucson High and the U of A, and loved her new hometown. She was an educator in Tucson Public Schools and at the U of A for 31 years and felt she taught during a golden era of education. This was followed by a 22-year career as an agent with Long Realty. Kristin Keith Gibson '79 entered Chapter Eternal on October 13, 2022. A generous storyteller with a passion for her southwestern heritage, Kristin graduated as a journalism major in 1981, making lifelong friends in Kappa Kappa Gamma. She interned at IBM while at U of A and met her husband, Kurt. The couple combined Kurt's design talent with Kristin's communications and PR skills to form Inergy Group, which ran for nearly 30 years until their retirement in 2021. A breast cancer survivor, journalist at heart, and a talented gardener and chef, Kristin was always a delightful conversation partner, wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
