"I consider myself wealthy beyond riches because of my sisters, and I am ever so thankful." STRENGTHENING THE SISTERHOOD "I was asked to serve on the advisory board in the 1970s—it was the first place I got involved," Lynn said. "They are always looking for volunteers, and it is a great way to bring recent grads back into the fold. It was the alumnae board where I really met my good friends and fellow alumnae. " Lynn served on the house board for about 30 years, first as a general member, then for several years as treasurer, and then as president. "Managing a house the size of Gamma Zeta requires commitment and foresight. I learned so much as a house board member—real marketable skills, and like Mike Rowe, I often did the dirty jobs." "As a member of the Gamma Zeta Advisory Board, alumnae board, and house board at various times during my adult life, the fraternity has given me far more than I could ever give back." We asked for your financial support with several goals in mind: ► Pay down the mortgage. ► Fund additional housing needs, specifically refinishing the dining room, updating the upstairs, downstairs, and apartments. ► Invest in our future members with a $100,000 scholarship endowment. Two years later—support is still needed to reach these goals. Now is the time to invest in our chapter's future and give our sisterhood a solid foundation during its second century. We are beyond grateful to the generosity of many sisters, parents, and friends who have given $488,605 toward our $1.5 million goal. We would not have come this far without your help! If you have yet to contribute, I encourage you to add your name to our list of donors. If you have made a one-time contribution, consider increasing your total commitment or extending your gift to a multi- year pledge. To contribute directly to the house corporation, visit tinyurl.com/GammaZetaAZ or scan the QR code. To make a tax-deductible contribution, visit donate.kappakappagamma.org/GammaZetaHouse or scan the QR code. Remember that pledges can be spread over time, so if you are able to stretch your gift over the next few years, you could more than double or triple your impact! Thank you to all who have been a part of this project. Everything we have accomplished is due to your generosity, and we cannot thank you enough for all your hard work, time, and treasure that you have committed to Gamma Zeta. For those who have been watching from afar, please hear us when we say we would be honored to have you join us in this effort.
