2 BETA THETA PI Preserving Our Tradition A L P H A P I C O N T I N U E S T O A C H I E V E A s many of you know, we love the fall season here in Wisconsin. Between the midwestern scenery, bonfires, football (and game day tailgates at the house), there seem to be endless opportunities to find joy. Yet one thing seems to be unbeatable, and that is the return to Madison to spend time with our lifelong friends at our beautiful home on Lake Mendota. We are ecstatic about the new house improvements, and on behalf of the active chapter, I want to express our utmost gratitude toward the alumni and friends who helped make them happen. The dock and fire pit, among other additions, are truly amazing. We are extremely fortunate to be making memories with each other in such an outstanding home. There is so much to be proud of within this chapter, and it is impossible to encompass all our achievements in one message. To start, we raised money for the Robert Michael Wood Foundation through our golf outing event (among others), and we are thrilled to host our Betawatch event to further boost our philanthropic efforts. Many of our brothers also studied abroad for the spring semester, and we are happy to welcome them back home safely this fall. In August, Andrew Prange '24, Robert Michaelson '24, and I represented Alpha Pi at Beta's General Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, where we learned strategies to help our chapter succeed and met Betas from across the country. Lastly, we officially hold the second-highest GPA out of 27 fraternities in the Interfraternity Council at Wisconsin, an achievement that showcases our collective efforts in the cultivation of intellect. As I reflect on last semester and embrace the fall, I have managed to become even more excited about the trajectory of Alpha Pi Chapter. We were saddened to see our 54 seniors depart in the spring, but we are thrilled to have welcomed a new group of quality men to our brotherhood this semester. Above all, we aim to preserve the great tradition of this house while fostering the lifelong bonds we know and love. This chapter continues to be a very special place to be.
