CHAPTER ETERNAL Wanda Jennings Martin '55 – May 30, 2018 ALUMNAE NEWS Sybil Jones '53 married her husband, Carlos, in the summer of 1952. They celebrated their 70th anniversary on June 3. She shares that 1952- 53 was an exciting time for Kappas with the colonization and initiation, and remembers that Kappas came from the Universities of Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico and from the National offices. "What a wonderful memory and my, how grand Delta Psi is now." She resides in San Antonio, Texas. Email: tashi22@twc.com Lockie Thomas Preston '54 is 89 years old, and her husband is 90. They still live at home in Lubbock, Texas, with some help from their children, who are all retired. Bunny Stromberg Perry '61 celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary with a cruise to Alaska. She stays busy playing Bridge, attending garden, book, and retired teachers club meetings, and working in the church. She also recently finished Bible school. "I can see your chapter is doing very well—good for all of you!" Bunny lives in Runaway Bay, Texas. Email: richardperry@embargmail.com Sherry Barton Roberts '65 has been competitively dancing for 13 years; her first six years were in country western ballroom, and she won World Champion twice. The last seven years have been in competitive ballroom. "There's always a challenge, and I love it." She resides in San Antonio, Texas. She splits her time between Sugar Land and her hometown of Brenham, Texas, where she has a weekend home. She has been a teaching leader for BSF International for 15 years and teaches medieval literature at a classical Christian academy. She resides in Lubbock, Texas. Tosha Simmons Martin '90 is very involved with Elevate Life Church. She spends as much time as possible with her family and friends. She also loves traveling and spending time at the lake. She is married with three kids and serves as the academic counselor for her local school district. She resides in Crockett, Texas. They spend their weekends on the river and watching Texas Tech football. They also work closely with the Autism Alliance of the Concho Valley, raising money and advocating for kids across the spectrum, like their son Sutton.
