Kelsey '61 passed away in early 2022 after living with Alzheimer's disease for many years. David was born and raised in Midland, Texas, and after serving in the Navy, he graduated from UT Austin with a degree in journalism. He worked as a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, first in the Dallas bureau, then in Los Angeles, and finally in San Francisco. He left the newspaper business to manage public information for Bay Area Rapid Transit and then East Bay Municipal Utility District. In addition to his wife, Judy, David's great loves were the outdoors and traveling the globe. He is survived by Judy, many loving friends and family, and his cat Harley. Steve Worster '71, a two-time All-American fullback on the Texas football team, passed away on August 13, 2022. Known to Texas fans as "Woo-Woo" Worster, the hard-charging athlete from Bridge City helped the Longhorns win the 1969 and 1970 national titles with a 30-2-1 combined record. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1971 and played one year in the Canadian Football League before retiring from the sport. Steve can be found in the Texas Athletics Hall of Honor as well as the Texas Sports and Texas High School Halls of Fame. He is survived by his daughter, Erin, and son, Scott.
