GAMMA PHI BETA 3 T ime is our most valuable resource. It goes too quickly and it waits for no one; we try to control it and attempt not to waste it. Some say you invest your time in things that matter the most to you—family, friends, career, the community, you name it. It also can become difficult to find time to balance it all. Entering my third year as president of the AHC Board, I am amazed at the amount of time invested into Pi Chapter by new members, our current members, the undergraduate leadership, alumnae serving as advisors or members of the AHC Board, and those who are a part of their local alumnae chapter. It is that continued investment— never with expectation of anything in return—that truly makes Pi Chapter so strong and special. Now for the fun stuff: a project update! This summer, the AHC Board finalized a large project aimed to refresh an essential component of our home—the bathrooms. While the bathrooms were not fully renovated, an intensive project was undertaken to deep clean the showers and grout, update lighting, reconfigure shelving for functionality and storage options, and of course, add some flair with décor and stylistic touches. While not as fun to detail but equally as important, we also replaced and updated various necessities throughout the house, including the dishwasher and heat pump, along with essential upgrades to the security system to ensure the safety of our undergraduate members (and our wonderful house mom, Tracie Diehl) that live in our beautiful home. Looking forward, we expect projects to consist primarily of repairs and general maintenance to ensure the functionality and continued use of our home. As a board, we continue to utilize our financial resources in a prudent manner so that the house remains a safe home to our sisters that occupy it—today and in the future. We are continually grateful for your support, whether that's through your time or monetarily. Pi Chapter remains strong and has a bright and healthy future ahead. Again, thank you for your continued support of Pi Chapter. In IIKE, Kara E.
