To keep us better connected and maintain the Love in Our Bond, the Chapter and house corporation have come together to start a new alumnae relations program, including e 4090 News! Twice annually, we'll bring a little bit of LSU to you with a new edition of the newsletter. Inside this inaugural edition, you'll find updates on the active Chapter and recruitment, an interview with an alumna, information on the Alpha Eta Reunion Weekend, and house corporation news. We are also working to establish an Alpha Eta Chapter Association comprised of all Alpha Eta alumnae. We're thrilled to begin the process of reconnecting Phi Mu sisters from near and far! IS YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATED? To ensure timely communication about important news and events, updating our alumnae contact records is a top priority. You may recall receiving a form earlier this year asking you to confirm your contact information and share what's new with you. Our first alumnae updates can be found on page 6. Please help us keep connected by sharing the form with other sisters whose information may be outdated or unavailable. Your personal information will not be shared outside of this effort. CHAPTER HOUSE UPDATES Last summer, extensive updates were made to the interior of our beautiful, historic A. New sconces were installed in all hallways, the original closets were painted and outfitted with current hardware, and uniform drapery rods were hung in all bedrooms. Under the volunteer leadership of Mary Mowad Guiteau '94 and Kyra Johnson Deaton '11, all this work was completed on budget. In addition to these updates, house corporation continues to oversee regular maintenance, including exterior pressure washing, floor refinishing, maintenance of trees and landscaping, and routine inspections to ensure the long-term integrity and functionality of the house. While a lot was accomplished, the house corporation is continuing to make needed improvements to the house. is summer, recessed lighting and new ceiling fans were installed in all bedrooms. ese updates are important to the current Chapter members and are necessary to compete at LSU.
