Largest Group of Greek Ambassadors Greek Ambassadors are a group of students selected to serve as official ambassadors for the Greek community at the University of Alabama. Representing four councils and 67 chapters, Greek Ambassadors give prospective students and their families insight into the Greek community during their tours. Approximately 50 ambassadors are annually selected through a two-step interview process from a highly competitive applicant pool. This year, seven Tri Delta members serve as Greek ambassadors: Emilie Adams '21, Kalleigh Ahern '21, Rachel Cooke '20, Alex Dunn-Cordova '21, Sophie Skolnick '21, and Emily Weil '20. Alison Levine '19 is serving as executive vice president. These ambassadors impact prospective students' college decisions by sharing their own stories of the exceptional support and personal growth that Tri Delta and the Greek community have provided them. T here are countless ways to give back to an organization, whether it be through donating financial resources, providing mentorship, or spreading the word. To Julia Parsons '09, volunteering is one of the most meaningful ways to give back to Tri Delta, the organization she loves. Julia instantly felt at home in Tri Delta. During every round of recruitment, she connected with each sister in a unique way. These sisters, along with others, soon became lifelong friends, and Julia continues to keep in touch with them today. Julia has fond memories of her time as a collegian, and she remembers looking up to the older members and Delta Mu advisors. Now as an alumna, she is proud to assist the active members as Chapter advisor. "Tri Delta has given me some of my best college memories, helped build a professional network, and provided me with lifelong, supportive friendships," Julia said. "It is a pleasure to remain connected with Delta Mu Chapter and help encourage and empower members." Serving as Chapter advisor has been a rewarding experience for Julia, and she is honored to work alongside the Delta Mu members and officers to ensure the Chapter remains in good standing today and in the future. "My hope is that Delta Mu continues to thrive," she said. "I hope every person who has the pleasure of joining Delta Mu has a positive experience and is able to leave their impact on the Chapter." In her career, Julia works as a healthcare administrator at Capstone Health Services Foundation, a nonprofit entity of the University of Alabama. Upon graduating from UA, she lived in Houston for five years and worked at Baylor College of Medicine. During that time, she received her graduate degree from Louisiana State University Shreveport. She then lived in Atlanta for two years, where she worked directly with the CFO at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Julia has lived in Tuscaloosa since February 2020.
