THE MU MUSE Fall 2022 For collegiate and alumni members of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at West Virginia University S igma Chi is known for its group of elite men who are working hard to develop values-based leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus, and community. Despite disaffiliation, Mu Mu Chapter and its men have remained successful. We are currently working with the university and headquarters to resolve the issues; however, in the interim, we are focusing on being the best Sigma Chi chapter that we can be. To optimize the chapter and its presence on campus, we are excited to announce For 700 North High: The Campaign for Mu Mu. Our brothers need a home that is suited to the ever-changing needs of today's college student to help ensure a thriving Mu Mu Chapter. This $2 million campaign is the perfect way to guarantee that our brothers have a solid foundation for years to come. Work has already begun on the house, including critical roof replacement, windows, and dormers. This is a great start, but to guarantee that we can complete the rest of the renovations, the support of every alumnus is needed. Initial commitments from 74 generous alumni, undergraduates, and friends total more than $1,151,000. This early support exemplifies the value alumni place on their Sigma Chi experience and adds to the reason we feel confident that we will reach our goal of $2 million! This is an investment in our chapter that will turn the house from a liability back to the asset we all loved and still love. After the completion of the renovations, the house will serve as a beautiful dwelling for brothers to commune and alumni to reminisce while honoring the men who helped build the Sigma Chi legacy at WVU. Sigma Chi has given each of us an unforgettable experience; it is our duty to honor our membership and invest in the future of Mu Mu Chapter. In the coming months we will share more information about this project and how you can participate. In the meantime, please help us thank our early supporters on page 2 and enjoy the rest of the good news Mu Mu has to share in this special issue.
