Eunice was born November 8, 1953 in Rutherford County to the late Benjamin H. Cooper and Byanis Boone Cooper. She worked for a phone utility company for many years. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Price. Survivors include daugh- ters, Amy Stafford of Forest City; Joanie Schrecngost and Bonnie Payton both of Pennsylvania; brothers, Roy Cooper of Cowpens, SC and Arnold Cooper of Shiloh, two grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; "adopt- ed" sons, Tracy Stuart of Ellenboro, Chuckie Stuart of Forest City and Lee Stuart of Sandy Mush. Janice Thompson Walker Janice Thompson Walker, age 81, of Rutherfordton NC passed away Friday, August 12, 2022. Born in Polk County to William Wesley Thompson and Arlene Smith. She married Horace Alexander Walker in 1959. She was a member of Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church. She spent her career at Apple Tuck & Associates and as a real estate agent. She is preceded in death by mother, father, husband, and brother (Arvol Thompson). She is survived by daughter Tammy Hunt of Rutherfordton, son Jason Walker (wife Karen) of Fleetwood; four grand- children, two great-grand- children, brothers Glenn Thompson (Blanche) and Joel Thompson (Patsy), sis- ter-in law Martha Thompson. A memorial service was held August 20 at Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev, Dr. James Powell and Rev, Ad Hopper officiating. Cohen Lee Jackson Cohen Lee Jackson, son of Joshua Ryan Jackson of Forest City, was born February 25, 2022 and reunited with the Lord Sunday, August 14, 2022. Beside his father, he is survived by big sisters, McKinley Lane of Bostic, Elaina Jackson of the home and Artemis McComas of Hollis; grandparents, Robbie and Jennifer Jackson of Spindale; great grandpar- ents, Sonny Dycus of Shelby and Susan Dycus of Forest City; uncle, Jake Jackson (Alexis) of Spindale and aunt, Emma Jackson (Zach) of Spindale, and several cousins. A celebration of Cohen's life was held August 23 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with his Grandpa Sonny Dycus and Cousin Scott Roach officiating. Herman Morris Wright Herman Morris Wright, 82, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022. Herman was born in Rutherford County to the late Frank Wood and Mildred McCurry Wright. He enjoyed going to his business The Lunch Box in Ellenboro. In addition to his par- ents he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Wright and Ray Wright. Those left to cherish his memories include son, Joey Wright (Karen); daugh- ter, Tammi Lovelace (Doug); son, Troy Wright; son, Victor Wright (Ashleigh); son, John Wright; brother, Robert Wright; sister, Sarah Wood; sister, Linda Wise; brother, Earl Wright (Gail), two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
