p. 3 Sigma Chi Brock Conklin '24 Joplin, Mo. "I chose Sigma Chi because of the values they possess and the presence they have on campus. Always staying involved on campus and holding themselves to a high standard, Sigma Chi is something that I wanted to be a part of and contribute to." Tanner Groover '24 Lewisville, Texas. "Sigma Chi encapsulates everything I stand for and countless opportunities for my future. I value leadership and growth, and Sigma Chi has allowed me to develop these skills and become a better leader while simultaneously staying true to my moral compass." Aidan McCook '25 Spring, Texas "Sigma Chi stood out to me because I had an immediate feeling of being welcomed upon our first introduction. The first day I got to the house, I was greeted with a group of wholesome, genuine people that I now have the honor of calling my brothers." Derby Days raised a staggering $33,241 for cancer research, which was a large increase from last year's total of $21,000. This increase in fundraising was achieved by engaging the whole Chapter in new events, including Call- a-Thon and numerous car washes, as well as utilizing established events, such as our Derby Days basketball and dodgeball tournaments. Philanthropy Chairmen Corbin Patovisti '23 and Ty Tetrick '24 would like to sincerely thank everyone for their contributions to the cause. Gamma Delta's current total of $33,421 is ranked in the top 20 of all Sigma Chi chapters in North America. Last fall, our Chapter saw several triumphs at America's Greatest Homecoming, led by Jack Palla '22 and Grant Sisk '22. Gamma Delta paired with the women of Pi Beta Phi to place fourth in the house decoration contest and third in Sweepstakes. Additionally, we have remained focused on our academics; we achieved a 3.37 GPA in the fall, ranking fourth out of 22 IFC chapters on campus. Time and time again, Gamma Delta continually proves that we are a force to be reckoned with. Our Chapter has had a great spring semester and 2021-22 academic year overall. Once again we remained focused on our academics as we achieved a 3.48 GPA this spring, ranking third out of 22 IFC chapters on campus. Our strong ending to the spring semester will propel us through the summer and into the fall. Also, the fall recruitment process will soon be in full effect! Please contact Hudson Guiver '24 at (918) 859-5506 with any referrals, as we are always looking to add more upstanding gentlemen to our organization.
