The Province Balfour Award recognizes the most outstanding graduate from the Fraternity within the Oklahoma/Arkansas province. Jack has been extremely active in the Chapter, serving as risk manager, Homecoming director, pro consul, and consul. Jack graduated this spring with degrees in both animal science and agribusiness. He has made several triumphs that reinforce his exemplary attitude, including being selected as a senior of significance by the Ferguson College of Agriculture, serving as an ambassador for the Ferguson College of Agriculture, working as a mentor through the McKnight Scholar Leadership Program, and being chosen to serve on the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Encounter. Jack is now eligible for the Fraternity's International Balfour Award, which will be awarded this summer at the Krach Transformational Leadership Workshop. Keep up the fantastic work, Jack! Our Potential Is Endless House Corporation Strategizes the Future of Gamma Delta T he Gamma Delta Chapter House Corporation has had the pleasure of partaking in an eventful 2021-22 academic year. In the midst of it all, we have greatly considered opportunities that will make our men better than when they found us. We recently hired a new housemother, Claudia Johnson-Curtis, who has quickly caught up to speed with our operations and settled in as a steadying presence for the undergraduate. This follows the retirement of Debbie Sutton, who served for more than 18 years. We will miss Mom Sutton, but we are lucky to welcome Claudia. Claudia will undoubtedly provide men the guidance and feedback they seek as they navigate their undergraduate experience. As previously communicated, the House Corporation is actively exploring the possible construction of a new Chapter house. As this is a monumental decision and there are numerous factors to consider, we are approaching the matter diligently and carefully. Hopefully, we will have a plan in place this fall that we can share with everyone. Unsurprisingly, the undergraduates continue to achieve at a high level. They concluded another year with outstanding rankings on campus in their academics and reputable work in philanthropy. We are looking forward to their next achievements. In the meantime, we wish you a joyful summer, and we hope to see you soon. In hoc, Whit Culver '01 President Gamma Delta House Corporation whit_culver@ml.com Visit Us Online
