Over the past few years, our chapter has faced many changes and adapted seamlessly. I am honored to be in this position during this exciting time for Omicron, and I am grateful to all of you for continuing to be an important and special part of our sisterhood. This year, we held numerous events, participated in campus activities, and aided others through philanthropy. In the fall we recruited 65 new members and hosted continuous open bidding throughout the spring. Our 17 spring new members celebrated their Bid Day on February 20, which was beautifully executed by our Vice President of New Member Education and Member Experience, Laney Tvrdik '20. We now have 82 new members, and we look forward to getting to know them in the coming semesters. Our entire Executive Council attended the Alpha Phi Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, in February. At the conference, Omicron received the Most Improved Recruitment Award. Some other highlights of the weekend included education on the StepUp program, where we learned safe and effective ways to intervene in situations and what it takes to be a leader for this chapter. One of our biggest sisterhood events this spring was making heart nametags for the Ace of Hearts formal. Members of all pledge classes came to our temporary lodge and it was heartwarming to be together. As a chapter, we took part in Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis this past February. Through our participation and donations, we helped raise $159,403 for the MS Institute of Mid-Missouri. Our members cherish their Alpha Phi memories, and we look forward to the ones created in our new home. There are so many exciting things on the horizon for Omicron!
