3 GAMMA RHO REPORT W ith lifted COVID-19 restrictions, the 2021-22 school year at Mizzou looks a lot different than last year, and Gamma Rho is excited to be operating as we previously were. Despite classes alternating between in-person and virtual learning on occasion, we are proud of our Taus for pushing through. Our brothers' grades have remained stellar, with a fall 2021 Chapter GPA of 3.14 and a new member GPA of 3.3. Domenic Monteleone '21 and Richard Stiffler '19 led the charge with impressive GPAs of 4.0 and 3.96 respectively. Throughout the semester, we held study hours to encourage improved grades. Gamma Rho welcomed 45 new members, and our active members have enjoyed getting to know them. We now have 79 upstanding members living in the house full time. We were sad to part ways with 47 of our senior brothers, but we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors! This spring marked the start of new philanthropic events at ATΩ. Our Chapter was excited to participate in events that were not held due to COVID-19. These included Delta Gamma's Hoops for Troops and Chi Omega's Swishes for Wishes. In addition, Miles Love '21 took home the crown in Delta Upsilon's butter-eating contest, raising $100 for our philanthropy. The most important news of the semester involves our Signature Event. Our executive board, Jack Scanlon '21, and a small committee completely revamped the event. The Chapter hosted an alumni/active golf tournament at LA Nickell. We also welcomed a new relationship with the MISS Foundation, a charity that helps bereaved families. The goal is to help the families of fallen ATΩs, such as the family of our beloved brother, Drew King '19. We hope that all alumni can participate by playing or sponsoring in the future. Not only are we having fun during the spring semester, but we are also keeping the momentum rolling into the summer! We look forward to ATΩ night at Busch Stadium on Friday, June 10. We will be selling tickets to all who wish to attend; proceeds will benefit the MISS Foundation. As a Chapter, we are proud to keep the traditions of ATΩ alive.
