After recruiting in the fall, we had a 96% retention rate and a 99% retention rate among the freshman pledge class. We are excited and eager to welcome the incoming freshman pledge class of 2022 to the Alpha Delta Chapter. Our chapter had a 3.4 GPA last fall, and we held study hours this spring to exceed that. In the fall, a group of our members attended the local Girls on the Run Race, where they assisted at happy- hair stations, handed out water during the race, and cheered the runners on as they reached the finish line. On April 30, members of our chapter also attended the final race of the season, supporting our local strong girls to celebrate their victories and hard work throughout the year. We also invited the local Girls on the Run to join us at the chapter house on April 24 to participate in a STEM activity with our members. This was such a fun activity and an educational experience to have with these young ladies. One of our philanthropy events, Moonball, also took place in the fall, and we raised $6,876. Our spring philanthropy event, Grilled Cheese with the GPhi B's, raised $11,909 for Girls on The Run. Alpha Delta Chapter was involved with Mizzou's most beloved annual Homecoming in the fall, and in April, we participated in our campus' Greek Week. This year, we were paired with Alpha Tau Omega, and we enjoyed experiencing the week's events with the Gamma Rho brothers. Both Homecoming and Greek Week are spread across a couple of weeks and serve both our campus and the community while furthering campus engagement and relationships. This semester, we have had many sisterhood events that have helped us deepen our friendships. Some of these events included a movie night/Chiefs watch party on January 23, a Galentine's Day brunch on February 5, a Sky Zone event on March 8, a snow cone truck at the house on April 29, and snacks and treats provided to members during finals week. Additionally, we held our spring formal, Romeo, on February 10 to celebrate Alpha Delta and our achievements. Our Mom's Weekend took place the weekend of April 22-24 and included a social event on Saturday at Pressed in Columbia, Missouri, and a weekend full of building relationships with our sisters and the strong individuals who raised them. To end a busy semester, we held the Alpha Delta 100-Year Celebration on April 30 and our Senior Rite of Passage on May 1. The Alpha Delta celebration was a fun time of reconnecting with old sisters and meeting new ones, and it allowed our chapter to reminisce on our history and acknowledge the growth and dedication of all members. Our Senior Rite of Passage was an emotional morning that celebrated the strong membership class of 2018. This busy weekend was full of festivities like house tours, a celebratory cocktail party, and creating lifelong memories with many sisters of the Alpha Delta Chapter. We wish the best of luck to our 54 graduating members! In IIKE, Mary Deaver '20 Chapter President president.mizzougphi@gmail.com The newly elected executive board of Alpha Delta Chapter.
