After a lengthy election full of discussion, Washington Alpha elected our 2022 executive board: President Cade Munro '24 Vice President of Programming Jackson Kemble '24 Chaplain Spencer Gering '24 Vice President of Membership Development Ben Chenevert '24 Vice President of Recruitment Luke Deschenes '24 Vice President of Finance Ben Nichols '24 Vice President of Communication Jake Lofrese '24 Vice President of SigEp Learning Community Jack Burke '24 Vice President of Scholarship George Kelley '24 When asked about the future of this executive board, Cade responded: "I am very grateful to have the opportunity to begin leading this house while it is thriving on campus. The executive board in 2022 is the most dynamic, passionate, and balanced group of men I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Each and every member elected has a unique perspective essential to the group's functionality, and this is what I believe makes this board bound for greatness." He now enjoys the good life in Scottsdale, Ariz., restoring British racing cars. He spends summers in Portland. Email: kenwaldrip@gmail.com Dave Peterson '67 is semi-retired and moved to Spokane, Wash., after 40 years in Seattle. He works part time for AAA Washington as a commercial insurance broker. Dave enjoys being able to visit Pullman for football games and the occasional basketball game. He has been flying for UPS since 2006 and is currently a captain on the 757 and 367 based in Ontario, Our WA Alpha Chapter House Calif. He lives in Camarillo, Calif., and his oldest daughter is at USC while the youngest is a senior in high school. He owns and manages 200 oceanfront acres of development land on Northern Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada. Douglas Hansen '08 is working on climbing all 20 of the Cascade Volcanoes, with only four remaining. He resides in Olympia, Wash. Email: douglasehansen@gmail.com Kris Owens '08 lives in Spokane, Wash., where he works as a senior commercial credit analyst for Washington Trust Bank. Kris is married with two kids, ages 6 and 3. He and his wife have worked with the Isaac Foundation in Spokane, and they are currently looking at nonprofits to join their board.
