O ur chapter has had a very successful and busy spring semester! We started out with Dance Marathon to support the Children's Miracle Network. Our sisters had a wonderful time participating in such an exceptional philanthropic event, and we were proud to raise funds for our local children's hospital in Omaha. In other philanthropy news, our Raising the Roof event is approaching, and we are excited to be paired with Phi Delta Theta! This year, we also welcomed a new executive board. Three members attended Leadership Academy in Indianapolis where they connected with other Alpha Chi Omega chapters and alumnae. The academy is an amazing experience for our officers, as they receive training and inspiration on how they can best lead Xi Chapter. We look forward to how they will guide our sisters! Another opportunity for our chapter officers to grow as leaders and be involved in the community was Greek Summit. During this event, a few of our members spent time within the Greek community and listened to a handful of wonderful speakers, including Chancellor Ronnie Green. In February, we celebrated Healthy Relationships Week with daily activities for the chapter. One enjoyable part of this week was our donut booth, where we emphasized, "Donut let love hurt." Overall, it was a wonderful time for our sisters to bond while helping to raise awareness of domestic violence. Xi Chapter had a successful spring recruitment with eight new members joining our chapter! With fall recruitment approaching, our members have started creating workshops and striving to be the best recruiters we can be. This spring has been very rewarding, and we are all excited to see what the fall semester has in store for our chapter.
