Here are a few the women are able to safely enjoy: Fall 2021 Recruitment returned to in person, except the Open House round which was virtual. Chapter Meetings are again in the Chapter Room. Meals have returned to one service, and the women can dine together. Large gatherings can be held in the House and on campus. Active members can fully enjoy the amenities of the House…together. e House is again at full capacity. Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 Initiations were the traditional ceremonies. Founders Day was in person, with the Chapter and Alumnae in attendance. We have tried to keep our Alumnae and Friends updated through the journey that followed. The list on this page reminds us of the limitations imposed on the Chapter due to COVID-19. Our women learned the value of being together after time spent being "apart" within their Kappa home. Moving on, they can now appreciate the value of their sisterhood but also what it means to live in a safe space. As we move ahead, we want to again recognize the many who have made our Kappa home what it is today. The campaign to build and renovate began over five years ago. Donations and pledge payments continue to be received. We remember when the Campaign Committee and House Board were told by the fundraiser that $ 1,000,000 was a reasonable goal. That undersold what we knew was possible. There was faith the amount would be more once everyone in the Theta Chapter world had a chance to prove otherwise. The Pandemic closed the House to everyone but those who lived there for over a year, meaning not even out-of-House Active Members and Alumnae could visit. The doors are open again so please stop by when you can. As many were able to see at the August 2018 Open House, your collective generosity paid off. Thank you again! Loyally, Theta Chapter House Board Moving Forward at KKG Treasured Chapter Traditions Return SPRING 2022 Chapter Council 2022 To date, we have reached almost 150% of our goal through your pledges and donations.
