Χ Ω 2 The Cardinal and Straw Parent's Club Projects! T he choice to give back to Chi Omega was an easy one for Jamie Wilson Karlin '06, and luckily, she fills the role of advisor wonderfully. Below, Jamie shares what excites her about the Chapter's future and what led her to volunteer. Q: What made Chi Omega the right sorority for you? Jamie: I immediately felt like I was at home when I walked in for the first time. I remember talking to a girl during recruitment, and I didn't even realize I had slipped my heels off because I was so comfortable! Q: How would you describe the impact that Kappa Alpha Chapter has had on your life? Jamie: While in college, Kappa Alpha introduced me to my best friends, pushed me academically, and gave me some of the best times of my life. Williams '72 kstate@sbcglobal.net House Director Jan Tidball jant@ksu.edu Our Parent's Club made some nice improvements to the snack room in November! In January, they purchased a new refrigerator as well. Our patio was given beautiful updates last summer! This was such a fun surprise for the active sisters in the fall (and fun to show off during recruitment). Goodie bags for fall move-in. In December, they also provided an additional Christmas tree for the rec room and made individual ornaments for sisters to take home!
