He then spent the bulk of the next 25 years working against Cold War targets. Thomas married his high school sweetheart, Tracey, and they've had 52 great years together. He is now retired in Punta Gorda, Fla., and enjoys fishing and cruising. He splits his time between North Carolina and Florida. An unexpected medical situation has sidelined them in Wake Forest, N.C., but they are hopeful it will improve soon and let them return to Florida, where their hearts belong. Both it and the outside study area will be dedicated in memory of David M. Hendon Jr. '50. The formal dedication will take place on FL Alpha's 100th Anniversary on March 28th, 2025.
