Free Red Cross training March 28th By Lynn Stimson The 2021-2022 season is coming to a close and we, at the Tyson's Well Stage Station Museum and the Quartzsite Historical Society (QHS) want to thank everyone for their con- tinued support. The Museum will be open during our regular hours 11am- 3pm Wednesday through Sunday until the end of March. If the gate is open, we are here! QHS is having a booth during the Buck Connors Days event at the Town Park on Friday and Saturday, March 18th & 19th. Come by and say, "Hello!" We will have that book you wanted to pick up, or maybe a t-shirt or two. If you are interested in History and want to join QHS, we will have membership forms also. Look for us! On Saturday, March 19th, we are sponsoring the "Pioneer Tour" of old sights around Quartzsite; the places you see and wonder, "Who lived there?" Sign up will be at 8:30am in front of the Community Center, 295 E. Chandler St. It will take about 3 hours to compute the tour. All kinds of vehicles may participate. We will be obeying all Town speed limits. If you get lost there will be a map to fol- low. This event is by donation only. You can get food and drinks at the Buck Connors Days afterwards, too. Museum update Town of Quartzsite will be having an Easter Event on Saturday before Easter, April 16th. This year, the event will be held in the baseball fi eld from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. There will be an Easter egg hunt plus games with prizes. There will also be a golden egg hid with a special prize awarded. Age groups are as follows: 1-3 years; 4-7 years; 8-11 years. Chil- dren must be able to walk on their own and be able to pick up eggs without the help of adults. No need to bring a basket; they will be hand- ing out Easter Buckets to each child.
