Alumni News Bill A. Dixon '62 and his wife, Linda, live in Michigan in the summer and Florida in the winter. Although Bill has given up flying his two-seat Cessna airplane, he still waterskies. He also restores old cars and watches a lot of football and softball; his granddaughter pitches for the University of Michigan- Dearborn. He is proud of his successful children, Brandon and Brittany. Bates '69 is semi- retired after working for over 42 years at WCJB TV20 in Gainesville (1975- 2018). He currently runs camera for GatorVision/SEC Network at Gator sporting events, plus local high school football games broadcast on MY11 TV and freelance camera jobs. Kirlin Special Projects LLC as project manager in 2017 but was called in 2018 by former employer Myrick, Gurosky, and Associates to manage the construction of a new church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
