OVER A CENTURY OF SISTERHOOD S ince its founding in 1912, Sigma Chapter has had a rich history at the University of Illinois for over a century. Our chapter has supported women by enriching their lives through true friendship and unselfish service to mankind. Sororities play a significant role in the development of young women, and this growth is crucial in today's competitive world. In addition to the standards taught by our sisterhood, we acquired valuable assets to strengthen our character, build relationships, succeed academically, and develop loyalty. Sigma Chapter has nurtured and sustained women during some of the most formative years of their lives, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. As alumnae, we can trace many of our best college memories back to our Alpha Delta Pi experience. Built in 1926, our chapter house at 1202 W. Nevada has clearly been the focus of undergraduate life for Sigma Chapter for nearly 100 years. It has been a home away from home for hundreds of young women and a classroom to advance the skills we acquired through our collegiate career. However, if we wish for Alpha Delta Pi to continue its strong presence at the University of Illinois, we must ensure that we are providing a safe, modern, and competitive facility. Now is the appropriate time to secure our future. 1 ALPHA DELTA PI
