lpha Delta Pi has a storied history at UIUC—one
to be proud of as alumnae of this chapter. Our
investment in the future of Sigma Chapter will ensure
our continued success and promote a legacy upon
which to build an even greater sisterhood. Today,
perhaps more than ever, college sororities play a
relevant role in shaping the lives of young women;
and as the COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated, the
need for community, a safe place to call home, and the
support and comfort of sisters remain integral to the
college experience.
Together with the active members, volunteer leadership
is committed to this major undertaking, which will allow
us to update our chapter house and compete with other
sororities and housing options in Champaign-Urbana.
We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan.
With your support, Alpha Delta Pi will provide a
quality living environment that supports, nurtures,
and develops outstanding young women with the
skills and confidence to face an ever-changing
world. The commitment we make today cannot be
underestimated—it will have a ripple effect on the
lives of our Sigma sisters for years to come.
