As noted in the president's report, fall recruitment went very well. We are always looking for leads, however, on additional young men who would be an asset to the Fraternity. If you have a relative or a member of your church who you think would be a good candidate for membership, please reach out to Micah Reynolds '15 at micah.reynolds.12@gmail.com or Chris Mikeworth '18 at chrismikeworth1020@gmail.com. Scholarship Opportunities Please also be aware of the scholarship opportunities that are provided by the Lafayette Alumni Chapter for young Lutheran men attending, or planning on attending, Purdue. For more information, visit the Beta Chapter scholarship page on the National website at www.betasigmapsi.org/scholarships. Chapter Officers Member Recruitment Remains the Lifeblood of Our Fraternity David recalls the aspects of Beta Sig that inspired him to join in his undergraduate years—the variety of culture, the emphasis on scholastics, and the overall brotherly bond. "The house kept me on the right path scholastically, spiritually, and individually," David shared. To David, it's an impactful experience to live in the Chapter House, but it's worthwhile to get involved and embrace the power of brotherhood and community. "The more you put into Beta Sigma Psi, the more you and those around you will benefit," he said. David has been married to his wife, Tracy, for over 28 years. Their two sons are proud Purdue graduates! They enjoy all things outdoors, including boating, fishing, hunting, and snow skiing. You can connect with David at shawlandscape10@aol.com.
