KAPPA SIGMA FRATERNITY Louisiana Tech University P.O. Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested Epsilon-Gamma's recruitment class of 2021. D uring fall 2021 fall recruitment, Epsilon-Gamma Chapter recruited 52 new members, which was the largest class recruited out of every fraternity at Louisiana Tech (for the year) and the largest in our Chapter's history. We are very grateful to have such an amazing group of individuals to strengthen our brotherhood as well as Kappa Sigma's reputation. Our Chapter's primary philanthropy organization is the Domestic Abuse Resistance Team (D.A.R.T.), and we participated in their annual radiothon, in which we collected donations in front of Super 1 Foods and served jambalaya at Karl Malone Toyota. Many domestic abuse survivors shared testimonies with the workers of the event and expressed how grateful they are for the impact that D.A.R.T. has on the community. Over the course of this event, we helped raise more than $70,000 to help support the organization. In conjunction with Alpha Chi sorority, we hosted the annual D.A.R.T Walk a Mile. For this event, our members raised money with a promise to go to Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston CHAPTER OFFICERS Grand Master Garrison Lower '19 • Grand Procurator Phillip Legler '19 • Grand Scribe Blake Fagan '19 Grand Master of Ceremonies Travis Able '19 • Grand Treasurer Avere Doles '19 Recruitment Chairman Colin Legrange '19 | (225) 828-9494 | legrangecolin@gmail.com STRENGTHENING OUR BROTHERHOOD Epsilon-Gamma Brothers Involved in Philanthropy and Fun Epsilon-Gamma actives collecting donations along with our sweetheart, Kaylee Bombard. and walk a mile to raise awareness for D.A.R.T. The event had an amazing turnout with Kappa Sigma and Alpha Chi actives, along with a large group of community supporters who walked along side us. We are proud to have raised over $26,000 for the organization. Andrew Shankle '19, our philanthropy chairman, organized and coordinated a clothing drive to collect warm clothing for the Methodist Children's Home of Ruston. Throughout the event, we collected enough clothing to fill five, four-foot-tall boxes. For Louisiana Tech's Homecoming football game, we hosted an alumni tailgate in which we invited Epsilon-Gamma alumni to join in our pregame festivities, enjoy food and beverages, and exchange good memories and stories. Our active brothers had an amazing time listening and learning stories from our alumni. We are extremely appreciative of our alumni support and know we couldn't do what we do without their help and consideration.
