continuing care facility in Lake Forest, Calif.,
where she has a two-bedroom apartment. She
sings in a women's choir and likes doing jigsaw

and still a member of Beta Omega Beta in

Barbara Pettyjohn Clayton '49 has formed
and led four different Bible study groups at the
various places she and her husband, James, have
lived over the years. Since they are retired, she
doesn't do too much. They live in Noblesville,

Peggy Trimble Anderson '51 recently
celebrated her 88th birthday. She is still

MJ Gustin Buxton '55 and her husband,
James, moved three years ago to a cottage in
Good Samaritan Society Senior Living Facility
in Crossville, Tenn. They enjoy living there
with people from all over the U.S.

Judith Mendell Donie '62 lives in Houston,
Texas, eight months a year and lives in
Roatan, Honduras, for the other four months.
She usually takes two cruises a year. Judy's
husband, Rol, is a Purdue Phi Delt, and
they recently celebrated their 56th wedding

Diane Beyers McInnes '65 retired from her
position as clinical pharmacist at Children's
Hospital of British Columbia in 2012. She
and her husband, Jamie, moved from the busy
Vancouver area to quiet and beautiful Qalicum
Beach on Vancouver Island five years ago.

Laurie Kay Eckart '67 and her husband,
Gerry, moved to Davidson, N.C., nearly three
years ago to enjoy a closer proximity to one
of their three grown children and family; the
rest of their family live in Chicago and Seattle.

Liz Rulon Keele '75 said that the highlight in
her life in 2020 was becoming "Gramma" to
Quinn Marie. Her daughters both graduated
from Indiana University but did not go Greek.

J. Abby Abbott-Rider '81 has been working at
home "seeing" patients and continuing to grow
clean, artisan food without GMOs, pesticides or
hormones. She enjoys traveling, flower gardens
and setting up an Air B&B/farm stay. "Come

Lisa Shaffer Shemon '88 completed her
master of science in instructional design and
technology in May 2019 and started a new
career path with Amazon. "It's never too late to

Elisabeth Vegovisch Aguilar '02 and her
husband, Gerardo, welcomed a baby boy,
Harrison, in June 2020. They live in Astoria,

Hannah Burke Karstetter '08 shared that
her first baby was due in April 2021! She lives
with her husband, Steven, in Phoenix, Ariz.,
where she is a physical therapist at Mayo Clinic
