www.ci.fayetteville.nc.us Get Ready for Back to School Downtown! It’s that time of year again when parents have to organize school supplies and new clothes while children clamor for the cutest backpack and lunch bag. Luckily, downtown stores have many options for those one-of-a-kind looks to make sure that your child is at the top of the class, at least fashion-wise; studying will help with everything else. A quick walk around the district will yield cute  lunch bags and other accessories needed for a successful year. Many downtown store owners have recently stocked up with fresh items for late summer and fall. Of course, our personable store owners are on hand if you need help, or even a second opinion. You might want to plan your shopping trip around tax-free weekend for even better deals. During Aug. 6-8, items such as clothing, footwear, school supplies, and even computers (think n2, our Apple store downtown) are available for purchase tax free. More information on the North Carolina Sales Tax Holiday can be found at www.dornc.com. As summer comes to an end and students get ready to head back to class, stores downtown are gearing up for back-to-school shopping and are ready to help your children look their best! Obviously, you do not have to be heading back to school or have children to take advantage of tax-free weekend. It is a fantastic time to have an excuse, not that you really need one, to look around downtown shops and get that exceptional  your eye on.
