T5 Sunday Halloween Wars FOOD 8 p.m. The competition's three re- maining teams are tasked with creating a cake that depicts the hobbies that a night-stalking vampire might have picked up after hundreds of years of lone- some immortality. This new episode's theme is inspired by a haunted mirror. Insidious TNT 10:45 p.m. After fleeing what they be- lieved was a haunted house, a young family moves again, only to realize that the house was never the problem. Now they turn their focus to their coma- tose son and bring paranormal investigators in to help. Rose Byrne stars. Monday 4400 (29.2) (40.2) CW 8 p.m. In this reboot series premiere, a group of 4400 formerly missing persons, each marginalized or undervalued at some point dur- ing the last century, is returned to modern-day Detroit without warning or reason. Autumn Best and Joseph David-Jones star. Tuesday Chucky SYFY 9 p.m. In this new episode, Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) looks back fondly at his first murder as he urges Jake (Zachary Ar- thur) to make a decision of his own: kill or be killed. This new series is based on the "Child's Play" movies of the 1980s and '90s. Wednesday Poltergeist AMC 6 p.m. Menacing spirits abduct a fami- ly's young daughter through their TV set in this classic '80s horror film from director Tobe Hooper. Desperate to get their child back alive, the family con- tacts a paranormal expert to de- vise a plan. Craig T. Nelson stars. Thursday Toy Story of TERROR! (29) KHOG (40) KHBS 7 p.m. When the toys begin disappear- ing one by one while stopped at a roadside motel during a trip, the rest of the gang bands to- gether to solve the mystery be- fore it's too late. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack lend their voices to this Hal- loween special. Friday Eli Roth's History of Horror AMC 9 p.m. Host Eli Roth pres- ents a new episode of his hit horror documentary series' third season. Talking holiday horror with the actors, writers, directors and artists behind the films, Roth features "Black Christmas" and "Mother's Day" among others. Saturday Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers AMC 7:30 a.m. A day-long, non-sequential Halloween-franchise marathon continues with this fifth sequel starring Danielle Harris. One year after he's shot, Michael Myers (Donald Pleasence) awakens from his coma and sets out to find his traumatized niece (Harris). Annabelle Comes Home TNT 10:45 p.m. This seventh installment of the Conjuring Universe fran- chise brings the violent doll back to torment her owners once again.
