Chi omega T his fall will be a busy one at Tau Beta, but we are so excited to be back in person! We want to acknowledge the hard work our sisters have put in to excel in and out of the Chapter throughout the 2020-21 academic year. First and foremost, we are beyond thrilled to have been awarded the Zelma Patchin Award— an award for the overall outstanding chapter! Also within the Panhellenic community, Tau Beta placed top in grades with a chapter GPA of 3.77. G.T.B. Chloe Scheitzach '20 reflected on this achievement, saying, "I am beyond proud of the Chapter and the hard work we have put in, staying true to the symphony, and placing scholarship above social obligation. This hard work does not go unnoticed, and I cannot wait to see what else we accomplish this semester." Tau Beta welcomed a pledge class of 53 new members, including 10 legacies, this recruitment. Even though our members missed being at 310 S. Monroe, we had a wonderful experience recruiting out of the Phi Gamma Delta house. We have many exciting events planned for this semester, including shows, philanthropy events, date parties, sisterhood events, and fall Family Weekend. OSU's 100th Homecoming will take place on October 30, and we have been paired with Beta Theta Pi—pomping is in full swing! Finally, to our alumnae, we are so thankful for you and your continued support and encouragement! We hope to see you around campus this fall with Homecoming festivities just around the corner.
