" " " " GEORGAN WALLACE REITMEIER '61 "Chi Omega women before me left an impressionable legacy, including Bernadine Albright Brock '23 and Mildred Russell Humphrey '24, who devoted themselves to our Chapter. This new Tau Beta house symbolizes the legacy of those of us who benefited from the efforts of former women and now have an opportunity to leave our own legacy for future Tau Betas! What a privilege to be a contributing part of this house, which will strengthen and continue our legacy of excellence and love for our sisters." BEVERLY DIXON WILLIAMS '67 "Our beautiful old house always felt like home—a place for fun, guidance, acceptance, and sisterhood. I thought it would be there forever, but the reality is that our home could not be remodeled and retrofitted any more. It needed to be replaced with a beautiful new home to allow generations of future Chi Os the opportunity to make their own memories at 310 S. Monroe. I felt it a privilege and obligation to help make this dream come true through my contribution." KAREN COOPER KENNEDY '83 AND KACI KENNEDY NEWTON '13 "We decided to donate to Tau Beta's capital campaign because we both benefited from our time as Chi Omegas and wanted to give back so others could also have a great experience. Tau Beta pushed us out of our comfort zones, encouraged us to get involved in Chi Omega leadership and campus activities, provided opportunities to serve others, and gave us so many friendships we still enjoy to this day. If you are still trying to decide whether to donate, remember what Chi Omega gave to you and how your life would have been different without that great experience. You won't regret participating by giving any amount you can!" AMY PATTISON CONNELL '94 "Some of my dearest and most cherished friends were made in the TV room, kitchen, and halls at 310 S. Monroe. Even as actives almost thirty years ago, the house structure had a certain…personality. I'm excited for the next generation of Chi Omega sisters to grow in our new home and was proud to be a part of that investment. No amount is too small, so if you're considering, go for it!" KELLY FILE KAVALIER '00 "In so many ways, I am where I am today because someone else prioritized giving; giving of their time or of their resources without knowing me, yet still trusting their investment in who I would become. Yes, it is unlikely my child will ever live at 310 S. Monroe, but his best friend, your neighbor's daughter, my niece, your future physician, my granddaughter might just find their fit in the house we're building for Tau Beta's next 100 years. I'm betting on and investing in my future—our future—and I'm asking you to do the same. The future is cardinal and straw. XΩ—it's a good thing!"
