What's your vision for how this house corporation board, and your role on it, will help perpetuate the Beta Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa forever? By demonstrating, through our actions, that Sigma Kappa is a lifelong sisterhood. What was your favorite Sigma Kappa tradition or usual chapter occurrence that you loved when you were a collegian? Candle lightings, sisterhood retreats, and the exhaustion of recruitment (it's true!). What's been your favorite moment, where your eyes tingled with tears, of true Sigma Kappa sisterhood? My surprise candle lighting at my wedding reception. Major and Graduation Year: Psychology, 2003 (B.S.); Applied Behavior Analysis, 2010 (Ph.D.) Career/Title: Senior Regional Behavior Analyst with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities Family: Husband Robert, daughters Peyson (9) and Maren (5) Favorite Hobby: Spending time with family and friends, reading, and soaking in any quiet time I can get! Create a strong vision and foundation that encourage involvement and dedication to the chapter's success. What was your favorite Sigma Kappa tradition or usual chapter occurrence that you loved when you were a collegian? I loved preparing for recruitment. What's been your favorite moment, where your eyes tingled with tears, of true Sigma Kappa sisterhood? Everyone singing "Love in Any Language" at Parent's Weekend 1988. Major and Graduation Year: Telecommunications/Business, 1988 Career/Title: Business Leader – General Manager Family: Husband Jeff, sons Jeffrey and Christopher, daughter Amy and son-in-law Sergio, and grandchildren Isabel, Angelina, Sydney, and Dominic Favorite Hobby: Traveling Favorite Vacation Spot: Snow-covered mountains What's your vision for how this house corporation board, and your role on it, will help perpetuate the Beta Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa forever? Maintaining the most important asset of any family, its house, is imperative. What was your favorite Sigma Kappa tradition or usual chapter occurrence that you loved when you were a collegian? Candle lighting; guessing who was going to blow out the candle was always fun. What's been your favorite moment, where your eyes tingled with tears, of true Sigma Kappa sisterhood? I'm sentimental, so initiation, naturally, but especially laughing while reminiscing with sisters. Major and Graduation Year: Marketing/ Management, 1989; Accounting, 1993 Career/Title: Self-Employed Family: Husband George, daughters Sydney and Taylor Favorite Hobby: Vacationing Favorite Vacation Spot: Every one! Everything I do for the board contributes to sustaining the chapter. What was your favorite Sigma Kappa tradition or usual chapter occurrence that you loved when you were a collegian? Candle lightings—I don't know if they still do them. What's been your favorite moment, where your eyes tingled with tears, of true Sigma Kappa sisterhood? When my daughter was initiated in front of sisters from my pledge class. Major and Graduation Year: College of Liberal Arts-History, 1989 Career/Title: Government Account Advisor— Applied Software Technology, Inc.; Software Sales, and Services Family: Husband Evin (married for 30 years this summer—he was also my high school sweetheart and boyfriend in college), children Isaac (25) and Deanna (22), both UF grads Favorite Hobby: Gardening Favorite Vacation Spot: Bonaire What's your vision for how this house corporation board, and your role on it, will help perpetuate the Beta Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa forever?
