Succeeding Together rough a Pandemic By Cannon Stringer '20-2075 A lpha Lambda has grown and remained a dominate Greek Life chapter despite COVID-19 and most campus activities being online. Our chapter adapted well to courses being held virtually along with fraternity rush week, brotherhood, and initiation events. e live-in members have said the obstacles presented by COVID-19 allowed the chapter to grow closer, stronger, and bond while battling the pandemic. Brothers will oen work and study together during the week, since some find it harder to learn virtually. Brother Ryan Vogt '21-2100, a natural resource major, found that calculus is a strength and helped tutor Matthew Dieter '20-2051 on a challenging topic to help him get an A on his final exam. is is the kind of support we have within our chapter. We, as a chapter, have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of all members. High Phi Brycen Boucher '18-2009 did an amazing job planning, setting up, and orchestrating the I-Week events, making sure COVID-19 protocols were in place to keep members safe during initiation. is year has been unconventional, but as a chapter we have adapted and will continue to do so in the future.
