We wouldn't be the women we are today without our KKΓ sisters, and Gamma Zeta wouldn't be the chapter it is without dedicated alumnae. Excited for What's to Come We've turned a corner with this pandemic, hope is on the horizon, and we are committed to achieving our $1.5 million goal. We extend a heartfelt thank-you to all alumnae and friends who have already stepped up with a commitment to the campaign. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed. In the past few months, we've had incredible growth in support and excite- ment for this endeavor to better our sisterhood, but we must keep pushing the needle. Is Your Name on the Donor List? Since January we've grown from 151 donors to 241. We are elated to see how quickly our support has increased, but we must keep up this impressive pace. To date, we have raised more than $454,600 toward our campaign goal. While we are thrilled with the initial enthusiasm and sup- port, we have only reached 10% of alumnae participation. Imagine what we can achieve if we double or triple the number of sisters who support this campaign. Just as we've all played a part in Gamma Zeta's history, we encourage all sisters to join in writing the next chapter. It's vital that we have all hands on deck to reach our goal and ensure we are in a strong financial position well into the future. Gifts of any size are appreciated, but we encourage sisters to consider extending their gift to Gamma Zeta Chapter via five- year pledges. Did you know a gift of $2,500 can be broken down into monthly pay- ments of $42, an amount we often spend on non-essential items? If you instead allocate that amount to Gamma Zeta Chapter, you will be invest- ing in future generations of sisters and making a difference in the lives of those women. Giving Back to Gamma Zeta We know there are many causes worthy of your support, but we hope you will consider giving back to the sisterhood that afforded us so much during our time at the U of A. From leadership opportunities to best friends for life, Kappa Kappa Gamma has provided us all with wonderful experiences and memories to last a lifetime. The young women following in your footsteps at Gamma Zeta are sisters we can be proud to call our own, and the updated chapter house will be a place we can all still feel at home, even years after graduating. A gift to the Kappa Kampaign will show our undergraduate sisters that KKΓ is not just four years—the benefits of our sisterhood are everlasting. Gayle also appreciates that Kappa helped prepare her for life after college and gave her lifelong friends that she could always count on. Gayle did her part to add to Gamma Zeta's tradition-rich history by giving to the Kappa Kampaign. "I want to ensure that future Gamma Zetas have the same meaningful experiences that I did," Gayle said. "I also realized that with the current large membership (344 women), we need to keep our house updated and safe for our members." Gayle feels that the campaign will maintain the quality of the house surroundings and aid in recruiting women who admire Gamma Zeta's high standards. She has fond memories of Monday night formal dinners, the Christmas formal, the Monmouth duo, Parents' Day, and so many other great times with her Gamma Zeta sisters. She is proud of the active members for how they have excelled by staying true to Kappa's core values.
