Kappa Delta PAGE 5 A WORD FROM ALPHA MU S pring 2021 was quite a semester for Kappa Delta! In March, we moved into our amazing new home. The women are enjoying the many benefits so much, from the multitude of study rooms utilized during finals week to movies and laughter in the beautiful TV lounges, and how can we forget the wonderful meals made by our amazing house staff, served in our beautiful kitchen. This year, we had 92 seniors graduate and move on to new endeavors. These seniors were faced with so much loss and adversity due to the pandemic, and we are so glad they had the opportunity to enjoy the new house for a few months prior to graduation. These girls are future doctors, accountants, lawyers, nurses, and so much more. We are so proud of them and are thankful for the impact they had on this Chapter. Our Chapter has been awarded many exciting achievements recently. Most importantly, we successfully executed our first philanthropy golf tournament, ΚΔ Kaddyshack, at the Ole Miss Golf Course, which benefitted The Oxford Exchange Club Family Center and Prevent Child Abuse America. We raised $23,998.47 through our event, and we look forward to doing it again next year! Alongside these wonderful Chapter-wide achievements are the achievements of Morgan Atkins '18, who was recently elected ASB Student Body President, and Grace Dragna '18, who was elected ASB Attorney General. Three members were also chosen to represent the Ole Miss Rebelettes as Captains: Scout Gore '18, Raegan Casey '18, and Elle Eickholz '18. Our sisters are also Ole Miss Ambassadors, an Associated Student Body Executive, Honors College members, and more. We are so proud of each of our members as they represent Ole Miss Kappa Delta so well.
