3 | KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA B ecause Kappa Kappa Gamma has so many involved student leaders, we were recognized as an official True Daughters chapter. The Mizzou Alumni Association works to recognize members of the Greek community who create experiences, affinity, and opportunities for students and alumni alike. A percentage of our sisters are registered members of the True Tiger Network, allowing us this recognition. Traditions such as Homecoming, Tiger Walk, Mizzou '39, and Senior Sendoff are only possible through the support of students and alumni. Membership in the Mizzou Alumni Association ensures that these storied traditions will endure. We are so proud to support our wonderful university. True Sons Award Julianna Bell '19 and Brianna Szczebak '18 show off our first-place Greek Week banner! The True Daughters banner is displayed above a second-floor window of the house. T he women of Kappa Kappa Gamma and the men of Phi Kappa Psi and Sigma Tau Gamma did not miss a beat when it came to Greek Week 2021. The overall theme was reality TV, with our pairing's subtheme being the classic TV series Survivor. Members from each chapter worked for several weeks to prepare a skit, including all the background flats, two dances, and a 3D banner that was displayed in the yard. We practiced volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, and swimming (the mystery sport this year). During the two-week period of Greek Week, we were happy to experience some normalcy as several events were performed in person: the skit, sports, the blood drive, and several days of service throughout Columbia. Each event was livestreamed for chapter viewing. Kappa Wins Greek Week 2021
